The mountainous Alto-Piemonte appellation of Ghemme isn’t as well-known as Barolo or Barbaresco, but its Nebbiolo-based reds are worth seeking out. Herbaceous aromas lead to a bright, tart palate full of candied red fruit flavors with a dry, earthy finish. Unique and very tasty!
