This sweet dessert wine comes from Cognac’s greatest grower-producer! Navarre uses 6-year-old Grande Champagne brandy—instead of the legally required 1-year-old—and then blends it with unfermented Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon juice, with the resulting blend aged an additional 16 years, fifteen longer than required by law. Sweet, dense, and fruity, but with fresh, lively acidity and loads of complexity—very, very delicious!
