This one-of-a-kind Amanti Vino-exclusive was selected and produced in collaboration with Finger Lakes Distilling. Our spirits buyer selected a single barrel of Irish-style single pot still whiskey (a la Redbreast, Blue Spot, Midleton, etc.) that matured 9 long years in an ex-Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel before we recasked it into a used Finger Lakes Cider House Pommeau Cask to add density, body, and apple-y sweetness. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 110.4 proof, it offers a very Irish profile of shortbread cookie, vanilla, orchard fruit, and honey, rounded out by the Pommeau influence. Only 72 bottles produced!
