Murray McDavid Benchmark Single Cask Ben Nevis PX Sherry Finish 11 year old

Owned by Nikka, Ben Nevis is one of the Highlands’ oldest working distilleries but mostly found as a component in so-called “Japanese” blends. Bottled on its own with additional finishing in a 1st-fill PX sherry cask, it is dense, concentrated, and decadent, with notes of chocolate, praline, baked apple, & spice. Natural color, unchillfiltered, cask strength. Yum!
