Creador Agave Spirits Lumbre

Lumbre is an agave variety endemic to the Zimatlán that predates the introduction of Espadín to Oaxaca. Roasted 4-5 days in rock-lined conical ovens, milled by hand with mallets in a hollow tree trunk, naturally fermented in clay pots, and then distilled in clay pots over oak fires, it is a true ancestral example of mezcal production—one-of-a-kind & very delicious!
