Heidi Schröck & Söhne Vermouth

This outstanding vermouth comes from a pioneering low-intervention winemaker in the free city of Rust, mere miles from the Austria-Hungary border. A base of white wine is macerated with a variety of botanicals & a slight hint of sugar before bottling. Dry-ish on the palate, with pleasant roundness, it is excellent in classic cocktails, on its own, or as a spritz with a little bit of sparkling wine—absolutely delicious!
