The fifth of Cascahuín’s annual limited releases, designed to celebrate the family and distillery’s history by showcasing the most premium, experimental, and ultimately traditional tequila they can produce, Destino highlights the aromas and flavors from the raw material of tequila, Blue Weber agave. One-hundred percent of the agave in this release comes from the ‘Cerro del Cascahuín’ and represents a combination of the distillery’s emblematic processes: six blanco tequilas were distilled according to different roasting, fermentation, and distillation techniques, then carefully blended in different quantities to obtain three blancos that were then again integrated into a single, complete, ultra-premium blanco tequila. Presented at 98 proof, without any water dilution, and as always from Cascahuín, without any of the synthetic additives for flavor, texture, or color that so plague the industrial, big-brand, celebrity tequila market.
