Ripe oranges and sliced pears on the open nose. This is both juicy and creamy on the medium- to full-bodied palate, with an almost Californian suppleness at the finish. From high-altitude vineyards, but in a sheltered location that's quite warm, so the grapes for this wine are picked early. Matured in small oak barrels of which 20% were new. Sustainable. Drink or hold.
