This bold Aloxe Corton has quite a tannic core, but none of the rusticity you find in so many of the wines from this commune. Lovely red fruit character and enough ripeness to easily balance the tannins on the medium- to full-bodied palate. Pretty raspberry and strawberry fruit is wrapped around the supple tannins in the finish. Sustainable. Drink or hold.
