This Cabernet has a bit of Malbec and Petit Verdot in the mix. It displays an inky, garnet hue in the glass, with kirsch, boysenberry and graphite emerging with every swirl. The palate is punchy, but not overheavy, giving off earthy flavors of plum skin, spicy berry compote, capsicum and crème de cassis. A few years in the cellar will soften this nicely. Drink 2028-2040.
