An intense ruby-red colour with garnet highlights, it opens immediately rich and complex on the nose, with notes of black cherry, myrtle-leaved orange and violets. In the mouth it proves fresh, silky and elegant, with a precise tannic structure. Very long, with a pleasant aftertaste of cherries and chocolate. Ideal paired with pasta dishes with rich ragù sauces, game, roast and grilled red meat and medium-mature cheese.

A deep ruby/red hue, the 2019 Brunello Di Montalcino displays a brooding and serious profile initially, with aromas of dried cherries, cigar box, smoky incense, mint, and wild herbs. It comes to life with a refined and elegant feel on the palate, offering fine tannins, fresh, even acidity, and a lovely mineral-tinged backbone with wonderful freshness and purity. This is a gorgeous entry to the Brunello offerings of Val di Suga in this stellar vintage. Drink 2024-2040.

This vibrant red is sleek and harmonious, with strawberry, cherry and currant fruit accented by mineral and wild herb notes. Dusty tannins lend support and texture on the finish. Excellent length. Drink now through 2038. 3,083 cases made, 1,575 cases imported.

A burst of wild berries, violet pastille and sweet smoke wafts up from the 2019 Brunello di Montalcino. This is a seductive effort with juicy acidity and vivid red and blue fruits that swirl throughout. Autumnal spices and dark chocolate slowly saturate toward the close. Inner florals cascade as the 2019 finishes long yet remarkable fresh with a licorice tinge and gently grippy tannins. The 2019 aims to please and will provide early satisfaction after a short stay in the cellar while waiting for the single vineyard wines to mature slowly.
