The beginning of a new year is always a little rough for the booze business…between Dry January and New Year's Resolutions there's a bit of a lull in the consumption of beer So, as January comes to a close we decided to brew up an IPA to honor of our "favorite" time of year. Surviving Not Thriving is a 6.5% NE style IPA. Featuring our special "Low Temperature Hop Burst" technique, we Double Dry Hopped this one with tons of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe Cryo, and Cascade. Expect this DIPA to be super soft with very little bitterness! Pouring a soft yellow-orange color, we're finding big citrus notes of fresh orange and grapefruit zest with ripe berries, apricot, and light peach.
