The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Les Rocheforts Premier Cru was picked in the eponymous parcel in Bisseuil in the Marne Valley. A creamy, nutty and slightly smoky nose portrays ripe Golden Delicious apple. The palate is vivid with apple freshness and a juiciness that unites ripe apple flesh with lemony crunch and vigor. Frothy mousse is energetic and swings lemon about, there is something deeply satisfying about the briskness and clean-cut tautness of this wine, despite all its youthfulness.
