If there is one producer in California that needs to be on your radar it is Mark Wentworth…HANDS DOWN! So, when Mark texted us that he will be back from Cali’ at the end of April, we wasted no time confirming a dinner with Chef Lo! Join us on Tuesday, April 21st @ 7PM at Turtle + the Wolf as we welcome NJ native Mark Wentworth, owner/winemaker of Wentworth Vineyards & Ranch for a delicious evening featuring his incredible expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay paired with an inspired menu by Chef Lauren Hirschberg. With vineyards located in the outstanding coastal AVAs of Mendocino & Anderson Valley, Mark and his wife Katie were able to channel their shared passion for the environment and great wine by producing fantastic terroir-driven wines from organically farmed vines. If you haven’t enjoyed his wines before, we liken Mark’s style to some of California’s most sought-after Pinot Noir producers like Ceritas, Rivers Marie & Anthill…but still relatively under-the-radar!
We love the cool-climate California Pinot Noir coming out of the Mendocino & Anderson Valley AVA’s right now and we couldn’t be more excited to share Mark’s epic new releases with you! His wines showcase the true potential of coastal California and will please lovers of both new & old-world Pinot Noir -- think Northern California MEETS Burgundy! As always, the wine portion of the event will be billed in advance of the dinner.
