World-renowned for the astonishingly complex and long-lived expressions from Barolo and Barbaresco, this legendary grape from Northwest Italy is capable of producing some of the greatest wines in the world. However, did you know that this varietal has another side to its personality? Maybe even two or three? Often nicknamed the “Burgundy of Italy”, depending on where it is grown, this fascinating grape can produce wines that range from structured & age-worthy to elegant & ethereal! In this class will take a deep dive into the different growing regions where Nebbiolo excels. From the alpine mountains of Carema to the volcanic soils of Gattinara, we will be tasting some of our favorite examples that truly capture the many moods of Nebbiolo! SRP: $65 per person
