Golden Oldies: Wines with Some Serious Age

Once upon a time most wine drinkers would buy wine years before they planned to drink them. They would pony up hundreds of dollars for a case or two and throw it in a dark corner of the cellar until they were "ready" to drink. Instant gratification is the name of the game these days and most wines are consumed as soon as they are released. Most everyday wines get worse with age, not better. However, there are those special wines that develop beautifully over time and reward a drinker's patience with complex flavors of tobacco, tar, almonds and honey (just to name a few). Join us as we taste these antiques and discuss what makes them so special. $50 a student.

Day Two
- Intensive Food & Wine Pairing Exercises
- A Six Wine Tasting
- A Fun, Multiple Choice Exam to Test Your Knowledge
The Series is $285 a student. Upon successful completion of the exam you will receive an official certificate and a lapel pin from the WSET home office in London.
